The Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT) was jointly established by the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) , the Shenzhen municipal government and the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006. SIAT aims at building a world-class research center of innovation in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.
